Yes, people ask us all the time..! The truth is that just like dogs are “man’s best friend”, we at Scuba Dogs are “Diver’s Best Friend”, reflecting our commitment with providing an excellent service in a pleasant, safe, and fun environment.

Scuba Dogs was founded in October 2000 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico by Elsa and Alberto Martí. Inspired by a deep love for nature, the ocean and all its creatures, they began their business offering all levels of scuba training, children summer camps & equipment sales in the privacy of their own home. Aside from this, they took an active role in conservation efforts through educational campaigns and national coastal cleanups.

Five years later, on May 13, 2005 Elsa and Alberto opened their “Dog House” in Guaynabo, inaugurating the only Diving & Aquatic Center in Puerto Rico. Scuba Dogs continues to offer excellent scuba diving services along with swim lessons, aquatic exercises, and family oriented activities.
